Handmade in earthenware with an applied sprigged foot ring and slip decoration round the rim

painted with coloured oxides with images referencing historical specimens of flora and fauna of the natural world

The pieces go through three firings- bisque

Each piece is handmade in terracotta and painted with layers of coloured slip before being decorated with hundreds of slip dots to create raised patterns of flora and fauna
