Nineteen hour days in the vineyard and winery become the norm, your equipment becomes your family, the wines your Mistress especially when you come home covered in purple kisses from your grape friends. Lifted and lightly floral with dried herbs and wild berries on the nose followed by cherries and darker fruits on the palate.

On the nose there are notes of dried fruits and nuts

It has basalt soil that is typical in this part of Soave and is planted with Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave

Founded by his ancestors in 1690

boosted by fuller fruit and more structure than the Brut Selection

The wine is pressed just before dryness and then racked to a mixture of new (2/3) and one year old (1/3) French oak barriques

This composition then embraces a traditionally macerated red Pinot Noir

our first harvest from Plot B and as a special nod to the Boutinot Rhone symbol of quality

this spirit is quadruple-distilled with purified water from Belvedere’s own artesian wells

followed by de-stemming and crushing

is matured in French oak barrels for several months
