19th Century Novelty Pith / Safari Helmet Ink Well. Art NouveauA charming 19th century novelty inkwell in the form of a pith safari helmet. The helmet is covered in a quality cloth with a black paper lining to the base. The inkwell is operated by pressing a concealed push button the front, and opens to reveal a brass interior with original bottle and ink. The inkwell remains in a lovely original condition throughout. Dimensions Length: 6. 1cm Width: 5. 2cm Height: 5. 25 Weight: 50 grams

The varnish is matte in areas with surface dirt present
